We will always send you pictures of items before shipping. If you have purchased shipping insurance (something we HIGHLY recommend), this should allow you to get your money back. Once the items are shipped, we unfortunately can not be responsible for any mishaps. What happens during shipping is the sole responsibility of the shipping company.
As long as a major international shipping carrier operates in your country (UPS, FedEx, etc.), we can ship to it.
Generally speaking, the shipping price is dependent first on the destination country and then the weight and dimensions of each piece. Because shipping prices change often, we do not usually show the shipping price on the product page. If you put a piece into the shopping cart, you will be able to see the list of shipping options relevant for that piece on checkout. Sometimes the price you see will be above or below the actual price (again, please note that shipping prices fluctuate a lot). If the new price is higher, we will request an additional fee. If the price is lower, we will give you a refund.
International delivery of pieces depends most on the carrier and the country destination. Generally speaking, we only offer air delivery services, which usually arrive within a week or ten days. In rare cases, if the piece is particularly large or heavy, we might offer ocean shipping but this is usually not the case for the vast majority of our pieces. Please note that national holidays in Korea or the destination country can also slow the arrival of your order.
We send you an email right off to give you a tracking number and pictures of the pieces you ordered. With this number, you can track the progress of your order with the carrier’s (UPS, FedEx, etc) online website.
If you need any help, all you have to do is email us at info@authentickorean.com. We do NOT try to hide from you. Our staff will usually respond to you within one or two business days.
At Authentic Korean, we offer two main payment methods.
For those who want to use credit cards, we offer Paypal, except in China where we offer Alipay. Both payment systems are used by a large number of international companies and recognized for their security and reliability. Alternatively, we also offer direct bank deposits. This option removes the many fees that Paypal imposes on transactions, making your final purchase price cheaper. We know that people in the United States are particularly hesitant to do direct deposits but we want to point out you are just as protected by law, even when compared to credit cards, so long as you save the receipt that corresponds with the transaction. Our transaction receipts will clearly state your intention to do a deposit so you will be protected by anti-fraud law. We encourage you to save the extra money.
